Dear Maggie and Family,
I will always remember Trink as a warm hearted and generous Soul. He touched my heart many years ago and his impression has never left me. I offer my sincere sympathy to all who will grieve Trink. Sending love and blessings.

Tom Tringali was known to his friends as Trinky, The Trink, and The Prez.
Originally from Yonkers he grew up in Port Chester, NY where he spent most of his life until he retired. I’m not sure where he graduated High School but he attended the University of Bridgeport and ultimately graduated from Pace University with a BS.
He was a gentle soul, a friend to all, and my best friend for over 50 years. He will be remembered by all who knew him but for me he will always be in my heart. I loved this man.
He had a tough life physically but he lived it with dignity and never, ever complained even as his body slowly deteriorated over the years.
In his younger days he enjoyed boating on Long Island Sound and the Spring ritual of working with his Dad getting their wooden skiff ready for the water.
Latter on he became one of the core players in the Octoroon Poker Club starting
with the second game in Yonkers in 1976. Some time latter he was elected unanimously by his fellow Octoroons to be “President for Life”. He enjoyed Thursday nights among his friends and never missed a game hosting many at his home in Rye Brook for over 25 years.
I have created a Dropbox Folder where I placed all the pictures I have of Trinky. You can view them at:

God Speed Trinky, I’ll see you on the other side…………..

Margaret,
I am saddened to learn of Tom’s death. That is a lovely message in lieu of memorial donations.
