William J. Burke-Archer, 63 and his daughter Elizabeth Burke-Archer, 35 of Maryland died in July 2019 in Maryland. William was born in Monterey MA on September 30, 1956 son of Russell H. Burke and the late Josephine (Dean) Burke. William is survived by his father Russell H. Burke of Becket, three brothers, Michael Burke and his wife Rose, Timothy Burke and Joseph Burke and one sister, Cynthia Taylor and husband Myers. In addition to his mother Josephine Burke William was predeceased by brother Russell Burke Jr. Elizabeth Burke-Archer was born in Becket on April 21, 1984 daughter of the late William Burke-Archer and Marguerite Archer. Elizabeth is survived by son, Jonathan William Long, grandmother, Floy Archer and Aunt, Nancy Archer. In addition to her parents William Burke-Archer and Marguerite Archer, Elizabeth was predeceased by grandfather Edward Archer.

A Memorial Service for William J. Burke-Archer and Elizabeth Burke-Archer will be held on Saturday August 10 at 10:00 AM at the Becket Federated Church in Becket with Reverend Kevin Smail officiating. A private burial will take place at a later time. Condolences may be made through

    bill you will never know the special person you were to nick. The loss of u will be a moment he will struggle with forever. I met you a few times and u were such a kind hearted man with a huge heart we will love u always.

    As my dear Elizabeth I had the honor of meeting u a few times and u definitely stole a special place in my heart and we were connecting more recently and I wish I would of seen signs I love you girl may u and your parents rest easy.

    We are so sorry to hear of the passing of your Son & Granddaughter.
    I remember letting you know that our daughter dropped those O- ring like bracelets in the toilet at Becket Elementary when you worked there. Didn’t want you to have a big mess from the girls back in the mid 1980’s.
    Jim knew you and a son from the BFD also.
    We have funny & fond thoughts about you though we don’t see you often.
