Victor L. Biasin, 87 of West Stockbridge died Sunday July 2, 2017 at his home surrounded by his loving family. Victor was born in Pittsfield on November 11, 1929 son of Antonio and Louise (Celadon) Biasin. He was a graduate of Pittsfield High School. After graduating high School Victor proudly served his country in U.S. Army during the Korean War, where he was stationed in France. Victor worked for thirty two years as a mechanic for Petricca Construction, retiring in 1991. He was an avid Boston Red Sox fan, a member of the West Stockbridge American Legion Post 254 and was one of the founders of the West Stockbridge Sportsman’s Club. Victor’s wife Clarice (Lancaster) Biasin predeceased him on December 17, 1981. Victor is survived by three daoughters, Susan Fuhlbrigge of Pownal VT, Sandra Herbst of Ossining N.Y. and Sheri Biasin of Cheshire MA, four sisters, Mary Censato of Richmond, Edith Raspuzzi of West Stockbridge, Norma Grant of Pittsfield and Amelia Koldys of Lee, nine grandchildren and five great grandchildren. In addition to his wife Victor was predeceased by sister Rose Pericolosi.
A Liturgy of Christian Burial for Victor L. Biasin will be held on Friday July 7 at 9:00 AM at Saint Patrick’s Church in West Stockbridge. Burial will follow in Saint Patrick’s Cemetery. Family will receive friends on Thursday July 6 from 4:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the BIRCHES-ROY FUNERAL HOME 33 South Street Great Barrington MA 01230. In lieu of flowers expressions of sympathy in Victor’s memory may be made to the Saint Patrick’s Building Fund in care of the funeral home.
