Ann Louise Angelini, 88, of West Stockbridge passed away Friday December 8, 2017 at Berkshire Medical Center with her loving family at her side. She was born in Pittsfield on September 20, 1929, the daughter of Charles and Ida Louise (Barden) Hubley. The family moved to Richmond in the early 1940’s and she attended local schools in Pittsfield. Her husband of 61 years, Joseph J. Angelini, predeceased her on October 18, 2011. They were married on October 7, 1950 at St. Patrick’s Church. She worked as a school bus driver in West Stockbridge for 10 years and then waitressed at the Berkshire Truck Plaza retiring in 1989. An expert seamstress, she enjoyed making matching Easter outfits, prom dresses and wedding gowns for her daughters. She loved to cook and bake goodies for her family and friends. An avid reader, she also enjoyed crossword puzzles, Bingo, trips to Foxwoods and spending time with her family. She was a member of West Stockbridge Golden Years and the Council on Aging. A communicant of St. Patrick’s Church, she was active in the church’s bazaar and Rosary Sodality. She is survived by two sons, Joseph of Stockbridge and Michael of West Stockbridge, four daughters, Christine Ross (Steven) of Great Barrington, Linda Johnston (Gary) of Interlaken, Karen Slavinski (Ed) of Hancock and Joann Baer (Chris) of Mesa AZ. She also leaves six grandchildren, Stephanie, Jason, Kim, Ricky, Eddie and Nathan and five great grandchildren, Madeline, Finn, Ava, Lonan and Lyrin. In addition to her husband Joseph, Ann was predeceased by her brother, Lorin Hubley in 1998.
A Liturgy of Christian Burial for Ann Louise Angelini will be held on Friday December 15 at 10:00 AM at Saint Patrick’s Church in West Stockbridge with Monsignor John Bonzagni officiating. Burial will follow in Saint Patrick’s Cemetery. There are no calling hours. In lieu of flowers expressions of sympathy in Ann’s memory may be made to the West Stockbridge Fire and Rescue Services in care of BIRCHES-ROY FUNERAL HOME 33 South Street Great Barrington MA 01230.
