  2. From our family to yours, our deepest sympathies, fondest thoughts and happiest memories of your amazing mother. My parents loved your parents and we know yours loved ours. To say we were neighbors only scratches the surface of the bonds that stretch into the deepest, most precious places in our hearts.

We had planned to join you today. Intense weather, recent highway scares and 400 miles of icy uncertainty made us wary of the dangerous passibility of unintended consequences (Earthquake ?!).with heavy hearts we cancelled the Friday driving plan. Be assured our whole family was with you today in spirit, especially my mother and father. We were all there with you, your mom and dad, Uncle Rick, and our first, most special of Ashley Falls friends, Hap and Esther.

And Grandma Scoville, of course. And Trixie too. Do you remember her? In my dreams I’m still running across that great big yard. I can’t wait any longer to get over there and see everybody. It’s Memorial Day. My favorite day of the year. Thank you Hap and Esther. Thank you Tom and Ricky. Thank you Bev. Lizzie and Mary too

We will be at Boardman street for the last two weeks of May. Hoping to see as many of you as possible then. Let’s get together for some hugs. It won’t be right with us until we do.

    With all our love,
    Mark, Debbie, Elizabeth
    Al and Edie

To say we were neighbors would only scratch the surface of describing the bonds and connections linking the deepest, most precious places in the our hearts and lives.

Your parents loved my parents. And mine loved yours. Know that we were all with you today in spirit along with your dad, Uncle Rick and our first and most special Ashley Falls friends Hap and Esther.

We were ready to travel, but the big storm, a recent highway scare, the threat of icy roads and dangerous unintended consequences (earthquake in NJ?!) forced our decision to cancel the Friday drive.

In my dream I’m running across that great big yard. I m crossing left field. The backstop is still up. I can’t wait to get next door to see everybody. It’s s always Memorial Day. Everybody’s there after the parade. My mother and dad. Hap and Esther. Tom and Ricky. Terry, Karen and Micky. Liz and your mom. Of course Grandma Scoville. Trixie and Alfred too. Do you remember them? All our friends from the village. Doughnuts. It‘s always my favorite day.

We will be at Boardman St. during the last two weeks in May. We are hoping to see as many of you as possible for memories and hugs. It won’t be right for us until we do. Date and location to be determined.

    To our great friends…..
